Meet December 10 Holiday gathering at Rob and Bonnie Cramp's in Williamsville at 5 p.m. Call them at 348-7158.
Hike/Ski/Snowshoe/Camp December 31 New Year's Eve at Spruce Peak Shelter. Ring in the New Year on the Long Trail. Call Joe Cook at 257-0609.
Ski/Snowshoe/Camp January 7-8 Mystery cabin in Stratton. Ski or snowshoe 1 mile to a heated cabin with good snow and great views, the location of which will be undisclosed to protect the privacy of the owners. Call Mark Brown at 254-4647.
Ski/Camp January 21-22 Sam's Cabin in the Dartmouth College Grant. 2.5 mile ski to heated cabin. Reservations are required. Call Mark Brissette '06 at (860) 908-0492.
Snowshoe January 28 Mount Ascutney traverse. Relatively challenging one-way trip across promontory close to home. Call Rich Windish at 457-2123.
Snowshoe February 4 Green Mountain Club Snowshoe Festival at the Club's headquarters in Waterbury Center. Indoor and outdoor kids' activities, nature walks, workshops, raffle, snacks, cocoa, and more. For details see the Long Trail News.

Ski February 11 Kilburn Pond. Skiing in Pisgah State Park, close to home. Call George Roy at (603) 399-7756.
Ski February 18 Grout Pond. Reliable snow at elevation, suitable for beginners. Call Dot MacDonald at 257-7657.
Ski February 25-26 Catamount Trail. Hazen's Notch to the Canadian Border, with the Catamount Trail Association. Call Joe Cook at 257-0609.
Snowshoe March 3 Grant Mountain in the Adirondacks. Challenging climb with crampons. Call Gary Hillsgrove at 348-9353.
Ski/Snowshoe/Camp March 10-11 Grand Falls Cabin on the Carrabassett in New Portland, Maine. Cross country and downhill skiing, and heated cabin with facilities. Reservations are required. Call Joe Cook at 257-0609.
Ski March 17 Prospect Mountain ski tour. Saint Patrick's Day at classic old downhill area with groomed x-c trails in Woodford. Call Dot MacDonald at 257-7657.
Ski/Snowshoe/Camp March 23-25 Ned's Place cabin at Merck Forest. New shelter with wood stove 2 miles from Visitor Center. Please join us for any portion of the weekend to help to defray the cost. Call Rob and Bonnie Cramp at 348-7158.

Work May 5-6 Long Trail work weekend. Please bring pack frames, shovels, hoes, and clippers, and meet on Saturday at the West Dummerston Covered Bridge at 7:00 a.m. or at the parking lot on the Long Trail on Route 30 at 8 a.m. Call Mark Brown at 254-4647.
