Work May 10th-11th Long Trail work weekend. Please bring pack frames, shovels, hoes, and clippers, and meet on Saturday at the West Dummerston Covered Bridge at 7:00 a.m. or at the parking lot on the Long Trail on Route 30 at 8 a.m. Call Mark Brown at 254-4647.

Bike May 31st Amherst bike ride. A perennial favorite. Call Joe Cook at 257-0609.
Meet May 31st Green Mountain Club Annual Meeting at the Club’s headquarters in Waterbury Center. Business meeting, afternoon hikes, and evening social hour. Bike June 21st Summer solstice century bike tour. 100 mile trip to Amherst and back, with shorter options for those that want to bail out early. Call Dot MacDonald at 257-7657.
Hike June 28th Lost Pond Bog. See the insect-eating plants in Mount Tabor. Call Mark Brown at 254-4647.
Hike/Camp July 12th-13th Sages Ravine day hike on the Appalachian Trail near the Connecticut-Massachusetts border. Car camping option nearby. Call Bonnie and Rob Cramp at 348-7158.
Hike July 19th Newfane Town Forest. Day hike, close to home. Call Sylvia Kinney at 365-7389.
Canoe July 19th Canoeing on Somerset Reservoir. Flat water, suitable for families. Call Beth Spicer at 257-9165.
Camp August 9th Camping on Grace and Bumpkin Islands in the Boston Harbor. “Remote” camping, within sight of downtown Boston, accessible by passenger ferry. Call Jason Cook at (617) 413-7438.
Hike August 16th Mount Ascutney. Nice hike, close to home. Call George Roy at (603) 399-7756.
Bike September 5th-7th Length of the state bike trip. Train to St. Albans and lodging at the Liberty Hill Farm in Rochester. Reservations are required. Call Joe Cook at 257-0609.
Hike/Bike September 13th-14th Maine Getaway. Hiking, cycling and seafood in Islesboro. Ferry reservations are required, so Call Bonnie and Rob Cramp now at 348-7158 if you want to join us.
Hike/Camp September 27th-28th Route 30 to Winhall River on the Long Trail. Hike on our section of the trail, with overnight option at our recently renovated William B. Douglas Shelter. Call Dot MacDonald at 257-7657.
Bike October 11th Foliage bike tour. Easy trip from Townshend to Grafton and back, with lunch. Call Joe Cook at 257-0609.
Hike/Camp October 18th Mystery cabin overnight. Short hike to cabin overlooking Somerset Reservoir, the location of which will be undisclosed to protect the privacy of the owners. Call Joe Cook at 257-0609.
